Henry A. Reitzenstein, Esq. is a corporate and tax attorney with over 40 years of experience. Henry advises high-profile businesses and individuals in Southern California and beyond on complex business and tax matters. His practice spans business formation and structuring, executive compensation, and sophisticated estate and tax planning strategies.

Henry has extensive experience with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), pension and profit-sharing plans, charitable giving, and the structuring and refinancing of closely held companies, both domestic and international. He regularly counsels clients on wealth transfer planning, income, estate, and gift tax matters, as well as the formation and administration of private foundations and other philanthropic vehicles.

He also advises on executive compensation arrangements, including equity-based compensation, and incentive bonus plans. Henry also negotiates and prepares employment, partnership, LLC, and severance agreements. His clients include high-net-worth individuals, business owners, corporate executives, and charitable foundations.

Before associating with Wolf Wallenstein, Henry practiced at the Los Angeles boutique firm De Castro, West, Chodorow, Mendler, Glickfeld & Nass, Inc., and later at national law firm Carlton Fields.

Beyond the Law

Henry resides in Los Angeles with his wife and his two dogs. His pleasant demeanor and exceptional understanding of the law infuse his unique perspective into all of his endeavors. Henry is an avid sports fan and enjoys traveling and immersing himself in different cultures. However, Henry derives his joy and pride these days in being a grandfather to his first grandchild.
