Today, October 19, marks the one-year anniversary of Wolf Wallenstein’s certification as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). WBENC is the largest certifier of women’s business enterprises in the U.S. and a leading advocate for women business owners. Co-founded and led by Ellen Kaufman Wolf, Wolf Wallenstein is a full-service California boutique law firm with offerings in corporate, litigation, real estate, environmental, insurance recovery, trusts and estates, and employment.
“I am thrilled to celebrate this exciting milestone for Wolf Wallenstein in the month of October, which serendipitously coincides with the SBA’s National Women’s Small Business Month, providing another opportunity to recognize women-owned businesses everywhere,” said Ellen. “WBE Certification aligns with our culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are always looking for ways to bring value to our clients.”
To become a WBENC-Certified WBE, Wolf Wallenstein underwent a rigorous certification process, including an in-depth business review and on-site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm that the business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women.
